Lake Eyasi

It is a part of Ngorongoro Conservation Area (NCA) hemmed by the steep rift valley escarpment. The Lake Eyasi basin is the home of the last hunter-gatherer tribes HADZABE and the pastoralists TATOGA. Tatoga people are the pastoralists who arrived in the NCA about 300 years ago but were subsequently displaced by the Maasai. Hadzabe people are semi-normadic tribe who are still practicing hunter-gatherer lifestyle in Tanzania for about 2000 years now.
